Keith Underwood

Acclaimed flutist and teacher, Keith Underwood, received his Master's Degree from the Yale School of Music in 1976. He has appeared frequently with the New York Chamber Symphony, the Orpheus Ensemble, the Orchestra of St. Luke's and The New York Philharmonic. His solo flutist with the Parnassus and Musical Elements, Jazz Antiqua, the Arcadia Baroque Ensemble, Ufonia and the Riverside Symphony. Renowned as a teacher, Mr. Underwood has worked with flutists from America's major orchestras, including the Cleveland Orchestra, the Atlanta Symphony and the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. In addition to his annual master class at Hidden Valley, Mr. Underwood has given master classes at such institutions as The Juilliard School, Manhattan School of Music and the Eastman School of Music.
